How do you feel about your learning? Self Assessment Set
This Self Assessment set is designed to fit in with Shirley Clarke's AFL strategies. It is a fun way to encourage children to reflect on their learning and identify areas of need to inform future planning. It features characters from Melonheadz and bright colours alongside black and white to give it a crisp yet fun look. There is also the option to use the 'I Mustache you' wording which is so popular at the moment.
Pack includes-
4 anchor charts/ posters to support the use of Learning Objectives and Success Criteria within your classroom
*1 W.A.L.T (we are learning to)
*1 W.I.L.F (what I'm looking for)
*1 T.I.B (this is because)
*1 W.A.G.O.L.L (what a good one looks like)
*10 Posters to use as either a class clip chart or anchor charts to develop an awareness of self assessment. There are 4 levels of assessment- 'expert' 'practitioner' 'apprentice' 'novice' (2 sets are included 1 using formal wording the other using a more fun child friendly wording)
*4 name strips with 2 designs (as the product is a powerpoint, this can be edited to add children's names)
*4 small cards which can be double sided or left as individual cards- children can hold the most suitable one up, put it inside of their books or turn it over on their desk to show how they feel about their learning.
*2 printables which can be used to engage in a dialogue about the child's self assessment
*6 foldable table-top cards to share a groups targets
*1 class record sheet for teachers to record each child's self assessment against the lesson's objective. This could be used to identify patterns in a child's assessment and address issues of self confidence or areas for further teaching (as this is saved in powerpoint then it can be edited to add children's names- there are 22 rows on the sheet- I CAN NOT ADD ANY MORE)
